High in the Himalayas, tucked away in the remote reaches of Himachal Pradesh, lies Spiti valley. Here you will find rugged peaks set against deep blue skies, emerald-hued lakes, stately Buddhist monasteries and some of the most hospitable people in the world. So it doesn’t come as a surprise that no matter where you point your camera, there is a gorgeous photograph waiting to be shot.

To explore the captivating beauty and culture of Spiti and take a part of it back with us in our memories and photographs, PhotoCommune is conducting a guided photo tour in the valley from 8 to 18 August. The expedition will be led by Idris Ahmed, a professional photographer and photography educator who has extensively travelled across the region for years.

Join us as we stray off the trodden track to wander and explore and learn photographic techniques along the way. Doesn’t matter if you’re an amateur or a professional, all you need is a boundless enthusiasm for travel and photography.
